Princess Battle: Peach VS Zelda

The original Princesses of the NES go head to head in this live action battle of comically epic proportions.  The effects and tongue-in-cheek jokes had my eyes glued to the screen and wishing there were more… no… seriously guys… can you make a longer video?  That’d be great!

Just for good measure and extra kudos, here’s a much more “Rated PG-13 skirting on Animated R-rating” fight between these perpetually-kidnapped ladies.  Hide the kids though; the 2nd video isn’t called a Death Battle for nothing.  Gotta love Screw Attack and their insane fight videos!

Bad Potter

Oh no… NO!  We were wrong this whole time… HARRY was the villain! Dun Dun DUNNNNN!!!!

Blood Blitz Comedy gives us an in-depth look at the “true” Dark Lord of the magical world.  The editing on these iconic films is so good, I almost believed it!

When Gay Guys get REJECTED

I am in LOVE with this video.  I died.  Literally DIED!  In fact, I died, got resurrected as a zombie and died again!  Brian Jordan Alvarez brings us a comical (and not entirely inaccurate) view of the stages that gay guys go through whenever they’re rejected.  This is the same guy who brought us the extremely long-titled video: “What actually happens when gay guys see other gay guys and straight people aren’t around“.  The exchanged between these 2 boys is so awkward, it’s delicious.  Not that I can relate with it that much because I’ve NEVER been rejected…

… I should probably point out that I never get rejected because I’ve always been too much of a coward to ever make the first move…

My bestie (who was recently featured on Jimmy Kimmel with his brand new fiance) was the one that turned me on to this video.  We loved it so much, we erupted in our standard 2-man-circle jerk of comments and likes on Facebook.  When that happens, you know it’s a good post.

Sidebar for the fact our 3 names have weird touch-points: I, Xander Finol saw a video that Jordan Alexander shared from Brian Jordan Alvarez.  Isn’t that cool?… no?  You don’t think so?  Really?!?  Damn… well, enjoy the video anyway… meanies…

Felicia Day might be God

I feel the need to point out that I’m re-hashing some random thought/soapbox’ish rant I had a while ago, as a blog entry.  Why?  Because this is my damned blog and I feel super entitled to (as Cartman would say) do what I want.

That being said, I’m thoroughly convinced that I’m addicted to Felicia Day and all that she stands for. I’m not entirely sure what it may be that she DOES stand for but whatever it is, consider me subscribed. I’ve also surrendered to the fact that I would totally be into her if I were not heterosexually-challenged…. gay, in laymen’s terms. I mean, she’s totally geeky, cute as a button, looks good in a pair of glasses AND she’s a redhead. Granted, I’ve never had the opportunity to date and/or ogle after a red-headed guy in real life; and given that I’m married now, dating one would probably be considered counter-productive to the whole monogamy thing.  But I keep putting my red-headed-hotties vibe out there for the universe to latch on to for the sole purpose of at least being graced with their fiery presence. Heck, let’s take a quick break to appreciate the HAWTness of Seth Fornea:

Wasn’t that fun? But I digress.

So Felicia has been doing these video blogs thru the Geek & Sundry channel on YouTube that she’s affectionately dubbed a FLOG. Couldn’t get more epic than that. I would do the same, except I don’t think I could pronounce XLOG out loud. It doesn’t even look nice to read. Whereas FLOG comes off calming, peaceful, tranquil and friendly.

Episode 4 of her FLOG is one of my personal favorites. There are SOOO many reasons I could go into why, but I really only have 30 minutes left before I have to get into my boring 9-5 so I can’t go into it. BUT! I do have time to mention the best part of this particular FLOG was that she played the violin while her friend Tom Lenk played the piano to an original score compose by Mr. Lenk entitled “Ode to Carrie Fisher”. And HELLO, if THAT wasn’t enough, did anyone not realize that Tom Lenk is Andrew from Buffy the Vampire Slayer?… and like 2 episodes on Angel. So you have the former would-be slayer, Felicia with former would-be watcher, Tom playing a song for Star Wars!!!

HOW you’re not needing to wipe up after yourself with a moist towelette is beyond me.

At any rate, I’m done talking about this. There’s too much excitement going on. I feel if I type any more, I may dent my keyboard. And I don’t want to do that. It was expensive.

Good Pig Gone Bad

Miss Piggy serves bad girl realness when the geniuses at Vulture put together this awesome video.  Now that I think of it; Piggy and Riri share a lot of the same Diva characteristics and neither one is afraid to let you have it.  Although in this case, Piggy lets Kermit have it… over and over again.

Take 2 minutes out of your day to put a smile on your face and watch the video below:

Comic-Con Musical

Nerdist brings us a musically, opulent, splendiforous (is that even a word?) look at Comic-Con, set to the tunes of Disney’s Belle from Beauty and the Beast.

Since I’ve never been to Comic-Con, I refuse to believe it’s as much fun as this chick with the gorgeous voice is making it seem to be…. sigh…

Avengers: Age of Ultron – 90’s Video Game

WHY is this is not a thing?  I would seriously play the S#!T out of this game!  These guys seriously need to get a team of video game coders together, start a kickstarter and make this come to pass.  So it is written (on my blog, damnit), so it shall be done!

Snitch, That’s my Hermione!

Because the universal balance has to be restored, the YouTube gods have given us a Harry Potter and Ron Weasley that us gay boys can lust after.  Enter: Adrian Anchondo‘s parody to Rihanna’s “Bitch Better Have my Money“.  Is it possible I like the original song infinitely more now that I have the image of these two boys in my head? Hmmm, let me look at the picture below before answering:

I would have to say “YES“.  In the truly magically epic throwdown between who I’m calling Hottie Potter and Rawr Weasley, we’re treated to images like this:

and also this:

and **spoiler alert**, Hermione gets tired of the Hogwart’s Hunk’s hijinx and brings out their gay side with a simple flick of her wand and (what I can only assume is) her chanting: Homo Revelio!

I think there were some hot chicks in there twerking too but I’m a little too spellbound by the boys.   ENJOY!

You know what? Just one more very necessary screenshot:

Ok, I feel better.

Channing Tatum’s FIERCE Vogue

I already knew Channing Tatum could dance hip-hop better than most people could ever dream of, but who knew he was also a fierce vogue’er?  In a YouTube quickie with Vanity Fair, this good ole southern boy was serving Paris is Burning realness, the house down!  Werk!

How Age of Ultron Should Have Ended

If you’ve not had the chance to watch any (if not all) of the “How It Should Have Ended” videos on YouTube, you’re missing out!  Get thee to their channel, immediately!  You shall feel all the better for it.  And if you don’t?  Well…. you have no soul.  #SorryNotSorry

Moving right along, these geniuses who clearly do God’s work, have made a 2 part episode outlining this summer’s largest blockbuster: Avenger’s, Age of Ultron and it is FANTASTIC!  Consider this your pseudo-spoiler warning for anybody who’s not seen it yet, since it kinda gives away the end plot points.  By the way, if you haven’t seen it?  Well… you have no soul, too.  #SorryNotSorry

For the rest of you?  ENJOY!
